Pain, the Killer

Poor 'Good Fren'... He has been suffering from pain for the past week.

When I collected his meds from the hospital pharmacy last week, I was surprised that they only gave him paracetamol as pain killers. I mean... Come on... the stuff I take for menstrual cramps is 100x more hardcore than lousy paracetamol! I could have given 'Good Fren' paracetamol for pain... and more!

*mumble mumble*

So anyway... He had to depend on those lousy paracetamol to manage his pain for the past week. That has caused him many nights of sleep. =_=

But today is a good day. =)

'Good Fren' went to the hospital for his check-up and the consultant decided to be merciful. He finally decided to give 'Good Fren' some REAL painkillers. Afterwhich, 'Good Fren' decided that he had become invincible. I asked if I could box him because he would feel no pain. Or perhaps get Blinky to sharpen his claws on 'Good Fren'.

The pain killers are a godsend. 'Good Fren' even managed to chew on and swallow some kway tchap for dinner! He got so excited about having normal food that he ordered enough for two... while I had my char kway teow. 'Good Fren' is a pig.

I'm glad he will not wake up in pain tonight.
